Another Export Hurdle Cleared
UK - Another significant step forward towards beef exports was taken this week in Brussels. The EU Commissions Standing Committee on Food Chain and Animal Health (SCoFCAH) endorsed a veterinary report on the UK beef sector. This is a very significant decision with the influential Brussels Committee indicating that the UK has now met all the necessary requirements and a request for a lifting of the beef ban could now be considered.Source: FarmingLife
