Costa Rican Food Chain Under Chinese Scrutiny

CHINA – China is assessing Costa Rican food safety to decide on whether dairy, beef and fish can be imported into the country.

A Chinese delegation concludes a week of  inspections of Veterinary Services Laboratory facilities (LANASEVE) and National Animal Health Service sites (SENASA) across Cost Rica today.

Farm inspections have also taken place on dairy operations, aquaculture facilities and beef ranches.
