Chile Inspects Four Meat Plants in Central Paraguay

PARAGUAY – Meat processing plants are being inspected by the Chilean ministry of agriculture to assess whether facilities meet market stipulations.

Ministry of agriculture food safety auditors from Chile have combined with the National Service for Animal Health and Quality to assess refrigeration in the central Paraguay.

The companies have been named as FRIGOCHACO, IPFSA, Frigobeef, and Refrigerator Guarani.

The assessment follows a directive from Chile on July 3 enabling Paraguay to export meat into Chile.
