Agriculture Output Totalled 51.8 billion ISK in 2011

ICELAND - The total output of agriculture is estimated at ISK 51.8 billion in 2011 and increased by 10.2 per cent from the previous year, measured in current prices, reports Statistics Iceland.

The increase in output value of crops was 2.2 per cent and the output value of animal husbandry grew by 13.2 per cent.

Intermediate consumption increased by 7.8 per cent during the same period, up to ISK 34.6 billion and Gross value added by 15.3 per cent up to ISK 17.1 billion.
