Cattle Die From Salmonella Poisoning
AUSTRALIA - Dozens of cattle in western New South Wales (NSW) have died from salmonella poisoning.

Cases have been confirmed on a number of properties around Hillston and Ivanhoe, reports ABC Rural.
The hot weather and contaminated water is being blamed for the spike.
Dr Dermot McNerney from Industry and Investment NSW says calves are most at risk from the disease.
"There have been about six properties affected," he says. "On each property deaths have ranged from between five to 15 cattle. So there's a fairly high mortality rate involved with salmonella."
