The Chinese economy is picking up and next to that, the Chinese government continues to invest in safe meat production. The Chinese industry expects an increase in investments and finds VIV China 2009 the platform to conduct business.

With already 240 exhibitors joining VIV China 2009, booth reservations went off well and to accommodate all companies who recently showed interest a second hall was opened at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue), Beijing: Hall West 2.

The ongoing interest from Chinese exhibitors to join is a strong sign that the annual frequency of VIV China indeed meets the demand of Chinese suppliers.

"With the recent rise in the Chinese economy the expansion of VIV China is a good example of the trust suppliers of the animal protein industry have in this current market," Ruwan Berculo, Project manager VIV Asia-Pacific, points out.

Exhibitors represent the following sectors within the Feed to Meat chain: animal breeding; animal health; animal housing & farm equipment; egg production & processing; feed ingredients & additives; and knowledge transfer & consultancy.

They will showcase their novelties, product introductions and other innovations of which veterinary products, animal nutrition, feed additives like anti-bacterials and antibiotics, farm equipment, diagnostics and antibodies are on display.
