The 90-minute programme will include briefings on the rule and its impact on beef and cow slaughter and rendering. The objective of the briefing is to inform the industry of its responsibility to comply with the new feed regulations that include the prohibition of materials such as brains and spinal cords from cattle 30 months of age or older. Additionally, there will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions of the speakers from the FDA, AMI and NRA.

The web seminar is co-sponsored by the National Meat Association (NMA) and the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP).
