Clinic wants mad-cow testing

US - Marshfield Clinic officials want to help the U.S. Department of Agriculture increase testing for mad cow disease after being excluded from testing for chronic wasting disease. "We certainly recognize the public's concern for health and the impact it's had on the meat industry," said Dr. Frances Moore, director of Marshfield Clinic Laboratories Veterinary Diagnostic Services. "We are ready, able and willing to partner with USDA to meet more standards for testing."
