Cheney brings up beef exports on Japan visit
US - While many Americans were thinking about Easter ham last week, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) was encouraging Vice President Dick Cheney to think about beef - US beef exports to Japan, more specifically. The senator, who chairs the Senate Committee on Finance, wrote to the Vice President to ask him to discuss Japan's prohibition on importing US beef during his visit there this week.Source: Agriculture.com
