US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will travel to Mexico on Monday amid talks to review the US-Mexico-Canada trade pact, Reuters reported, citing Mexico's economy minister Marcelo Ebrard on Thursday.

This will be the second USMCA round of talks, following a first round held in Washington last month.

"We'll be working all day Monday; there will be sessions to review each sector one by one," Ebrard added during a press conference.

Ebrard noted that there would not be a specific session with Greer regarding the halt to US imports of Mexican livestock due to the screwworm pest, as the decision does not fall under the USTR's purview.

"But we will have a meeting with the agricultural sector, and this issue will certainly come up," he added.
