Brazil's government said on Tuesday that the 2025/26 version of its national credit plan "Plano Safra" for agribusiness, seen as key to boost agricultural production as it provides subsidised loans, will total 516.2 billion reais ($95.04 billion), reported Reuters.

The amount adds to credits totalling 89 billion reais the government had already announced for family farming, and represents an increase of 8 billion reais when compared with the previous season, according to the government.
