BSE practices now law

CHARLOTTETOWN - Provincial cabinet has passed new regulations for P.E.I. slaughterhouses to prevent the spread of BSE or mad cow disease. There have not been any cases of BSE on the Island. It was found last year in an animal on an Alberta farm, which led to strict limitations on exports of Canadian beef.
