The Care4Cattle grant welcomes submissions from all those involved in the upkeep of beef and dairy cattle, but also from researchers and graduate students in veterinary medicine or animal science who engage with farmers in research on cattle well-being.

What is animal well-being?

Well-being is a broad and diverse term which refers to the overall condition and health of the animal. This wellness is important for both physical and mental well-being, which is easily impacted by social and physical activities that the animal has access too. The well-being of animals is seen as the right thing to do and goes hand-in-hand with the overall health of animals.
