The revised Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal will be signed in Chile this week, Al Jazeera's Andrew Thomas reports.

The United States pulled out of the original deal and some see that as a problem.

The 12-nation trade deal was a linchpin of former President Barack Obama's Asia policy.

For farmers in Australia, the absence of the US provides an opportunity.
