US Angus Stock Boards to Fly to Kazakhstan
KAZAKHSTAN – An order of 2,800 North Dakota cattle has been placed by Kazakhstan, with nearly 200 already shipped by airplane.Loaders at North Dakota’s Fargo Jet Centre loaded 171 registered Angus cattle last Wednesday afternoon, reports WCSH 6 news.
The cattle belong to Global Beef, and company co-owner Dan Price said the task of loading all that weight represents a big challenge.
Mr Price told WCSH news: “The demand for cattle in Kazakhstan is driven by their desire to start expansion with the best genetics.”
