Data analysts have identified a 12.5 drop in enrolment this year although have confirmed agricultural courses are faring better than other subjects.

Course numbers have grown 45 per cent which the National Confederation of Farmers (COLDIRETTI) describes as the highest growth rate of any subject.

This places agricultural degrees ahead of physical education and technology subjects, which are up 25 and 19 per cent this year.

Main losers this term have been engineering subjects, pharmacy and law which Coldiretti attributes to the ‘crisis’ in construction.
