Chinese Beef Buying Continues to Rise

URUGUAY – Beef exports have risen to over 7000 tons deadweight per month, figures have shown.

This is worth 20 million dollars to the Uruguayan economy and represents a 20 per cent of all Uruguayan exports to China, the National Meat Institute (INC) has released. This puts China above US, Russia and Israel in the list of buyers.

INAC has attributed this rise due to more expansive shipment ordering from the Chinese market. More boneless cuts are being bought and it would then cut to the bone
