Devenish Nutrition, the leading independent providers of speciality products in the UK and Irish pig, poultry and ruminant premix and piglet creep markets, see the purchase as an opportunity to get closer to and enhance the product and service offering to their customers in GB.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for both companies to showcase further and expand their innovative nutritional and technical offering in the GB market” said Patrick Mc Laughlin, CEO of Devenish Nutrition GB and Ireland.

“Both Devenish Nutrition and Hi Peak Feeds Ltd are passionate about innovation, integrity and building lasting partnerships with customers to improve the performance of their business and believe this will be further enhanced by this deal," said Ian Proctor, Director of Hi Peak Feeds Ltd.

Devenish Nutrition currently supply innovative nutritional solutions and technical support to Hi Peak Feeds Ltd, and both Mr Proctor and his sister Karen Hotchin will continue to develop the business alongside Devenish Nutrition.

“Devenish Nutrition has an unequalled track record in developing new products, customer solutions and management systems and will be replicating these practices in the Hi Peak Feeds Ltd business to help drive forward the specialist markets,” commented Devenish Nutrition Chairman Owen Brennan.

The Killamarsh site will see significant short and medium term investment to allow both Devenish Nutrition and Hi Peak Feeds Ltd to meet the opportunities within the respective specialist market segments. Both companies described the acquisition and future investment plans as a demonstration of confidence and potential in the agricultural sector in Ireland and GB.
