The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received Follow-up Report No. 3 yesterday, 8 May.

Out of 123 susceptible cattle, 58 cases were identified and 28 deaths were reported. No animals were destroyed.

Legal movement of animals and spread of the virus through airborne means have been sourced as the origin of the outbreaks.

Several measures have been applied to contain the situation.
