Winners Chosen at Ohio Angus Preview Show
US - Angus enthusiasts led 100 entries at the 2008 Ohio Angus Preview Show, June 14 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Scott Foster, Niles, Mich., evaluated the 13 bulls, 83 females, and four cow-calf pairs before selecting the champions.

Majors Front Street 330S won grand champion bull. Jordan Bachman, Lancaster, Ohio, owns the April 2006 son of Connealy Forefront. He first won senior champion.
Paradise Freedom 754 was named reserve grand champion bull. James and Sharon Winter, Ashville, Ohio, owns the March 2007 son of TC Freedom 104. He first won junior champion.
Dameron Pride 7205 earned grand champion female honors after winning intermediate champion. Bailey Harsh, Radnor, Ohio, owns the June 2007 daughter of Leachman Saugahatchee 3000C.
Jared Brosey, Hamilton, Ohio, owns the reserve grand champion female. B C C Queen Beyonce 7531 is a February 2007 daughter of Leachman Saugahatchee 3000C. She first won junior champion.
Lindsey Grimes, Hillsboro, Ohio, led the grand champion cow-calf pair. Maplecrest Rita 5120 is a November 2005 daughter of Rito 1I2 of 2536 Rito 6I6. Her calf is a January 2008 son sired by C R A Bextor 872 5205 608.
Champion Hill, Bidwell, Ohio, and Greenacres Farm, Cincinnati, Ohio, own the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Champion Hill Peg 5252 is a January 2006 daughter of S A V 8180 Traveler 004. Her calf is a January 2008 heifer sired by S A V Prairie Knight 5666.
