This project, which is coordinated by Karl Hoppe, Extension Livestock Specialist at the NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center, is designed to help producers better understand the value of their calves in a feedlot environment through the use of a standardized and uniform feeding and carcass data collection process.

Those taking part in the program will have the opportunity to:

- Evaluate their herd's feeding and carcass genetics;

- Experience retained ownership; and

- Compare performance of their calves to others with standardized feeding and management.
