Appeals court agrees to hear challenge on Canadian cattle trade

US - A federal appeals court has agreed to hear another challenge from a ranchers' group that wants to ban Canadian cattle from crossing the border. R-CALF United Stockgrowers of America went back to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after a Montana federal judge denied its request earlier this year for a hearing on a permanent ban against Canadian cattle and boxed beef over mad cow concerns.
