According to BelTA, DRex Food Group President Dai Shiwei said, "This is the first contract our company has ever signed to import Belarusian beef and poultry. This year, we only imported dairy products from Belarus."

During the visit of Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats to China in December 2017, DRex Food Group sealed a deal to import $50.8 million worth of Belarusian-made dried milk products. Cooperation with Belarus brought good results in 2017, Mr Shiwei added.

"We believe that Belarus' food products will be in demand in China," he remarked.

DRex Food Groop representatives are set to arrive in Vitebsk Oblast on 28 December to reach an investment agreement to construct a dairy farm in the region, which will operate using innovative breeding technologies.
