The National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) announced Novus as the First Place winners in the Audio/Visual – Directed to Trade or General Consumer category for the Novus Brand film. The film was created as a brief introduction to the company and its core values and functions as an excellent tool to present Novus to a broad audience by Once Films, a local St. Louis-based film production company. Established in 2010, Once specializes in documentary style, short films.

"Novus is a very thoughtful company, focused on solutions. We tried to carry that feeling throughout this short film," stated Once Films Director Greg Kiger.

Novus also received a Merit award in the category of Company Publications – Annual Reports for the annual Sustainability Report. The Sustainability Report provides detailed information and examples of how the company works hand-in-hand with its stakeholders and network of business partners to improve and advance sustainability efforts.

"We are privileged to receive these nominations from NAMA," stated Tracy Barfield, Executive Manager, Marketing Communications, "It is an honor to be recognized by our industry colleagues for the brand film and sustainability report. Working with Once Films on the brand film was a treasured experience, simply reinforced by this recognition and the TAM Awards."

The Best of NAMA awards recognize the best work in agricultural communication and undertake an extensive evaluation by industry professionals before being awarded. After winning First Place last week, the Novus brand video passed through the regional level judging and is now being considered for the national award. National award winners will be announced at the National Agri-Marketing Conference on 9 April 2014 in Jacksonville, Florida.
