New BRD Antibiotic Launches In September

GLOBAL - Merck Animal Health is hosting a symposium and reception to launch ZUPREVO® (tildipirosin) — a novel antibiotic for the treatment and prevention of bovine respiratory disease (BRD).

The product is expected to be available in 18 EU states in the next few months and in the US and Canada in 2012.

The symposium and reception will take place on the seventh September, 18:30, at the sixth European Congress of Bovine Health Management, Palais de Congrès in Liege, Belgium.

Speaking at the event are:

  • Prof Kerstin Mueller - Department Head, Ruminant Clinic, Free University of Berlin

  • Dr Markus Rose - Senior Development Manager, MSD Animal Health
  • Dr Nadja Rohdich - Clinical Research Manager, MSD Animal Health
