Testing a bull at an early age on these defects, will prevent problems with the descendents. Cattle farmers can send hair or blood samples for research on the six of the most common genetic defects to GD - an animal health organisation in the Netherlands. The test can be performed at a very young age. This new test (order number P475) costs €84.
