Taking place at Exeter Livestock Centre on Monday 19thApril, the event will enable EBLEX levy payers to find out more about the work being done to help them improve their financial returns. Through interactive sessions farmers can find out about the latest marketing activity, export opportunities for beef, lamb and offals, as well as how innovative meat cuts can maximise carcase value. The meeting will also take a look at what the beef and sheep sector can do to reduce its impact on climate change.

“The meeting will address some of the key challenges faced by the red meat sector today, so it’s a valuable event for anyone in the beef and sheep industry,” said Dr Phil Hadley, EBLEX Senior Regional Manager – Southern Region.

“We hope plenty of local producers will take this opportunity to meet with us and learn more about the work we’re doing on their behalf.”

The event will begin at 5.45pm when hot beef rolls, tea and coffee will be served, and will finish at approximately 9pm. To book a free place call Selma Todd on 0870 608 6610 or email [email protected] more information visit www.eblex.org.uk
