AUSTRALIA - Meat and Livestock Association Japan has launched a new Aussie beef campaign this week, aiming to ‘beef up’ consumers with the healthy nutrients that beef is known for.The campaign coincides with the outbreak of H1N1 influenza in Japan, with over 300 confirmed cases so far.
The MLA campaign communicates that Australian beef contains a high amount of zinc – an important nutrient to improve immunity – and educates consumers that they will have lots of energy by eating Aussie beef.
Consumers can fill in an application form for a chance to win one of a hundred ‘Aussie Beef Gift Packs’ prepared by a premium steak restaurant in Japan.
