In Scotland the U3 steer price was down by more than two pence per kilo. However, while the R4 price has fallen in NI, it has not fallen in Scotland, meaning that the gap between R4 steer prices in the two regions in now almost 25p/kg.

Prices in ROI have held up well in comparison with NI prices. While ROI prices are down on the previous week, the reduction is only slight in most cases, with the price of U3 steers up slightly. ROI prices still remain well behind those in NI with the gap between steer prices particularly wide.
