Two Year Study to Test Drench Resistance

AUSTRALIA - Western Australian beef cattle will be tested for drench resistance as part of a new study by the Department of Agriculture and Food.

The two-year project will investigate parasite problems facing WA producers and what is being used to control them, reports ABC News.

The department's Jenny Cotter says it is hoped the research will help develop new strategies to address issues of parasites and resistance to drenching.
